  • I feel like the gender of musician does not matter but I have to admit it is nice to see a female among the vienna horns. I don't see her as a member of the vienna horn group when I look them up. Anyone have an idea of who she is? Anyway, cheers to all the horn players out there making beautiful music!

  • @13COOLCHICKS -- They make it look easy by making it easy. Focus on relaxing every muscle you can when you play. Obviously you need to hold your horn up, and form an embouchure, but let the air do the work. If you sit in a pose that you would normally find relaxing, then simply pick your horn up bring the mouthpiece to you lips and play a note your tone will improve dramatically. Lastly, think an "O" syllable when you play. It will make sure you keep your throat open and tongue down.

  • @tswinburn1 Backing off on air is almost never a good idea, backing off on the resistance is though, relaxing your embouchure and increasing air stream gives a much better tone and range.

  • @13COOLCHICKS ---Steve Park @ Ohsteacher Cool Chick. Try it. Guarantee you'll love it.

  • @13COOLCHICKS work on your embouchure. You are probably putting WAY to much pressure on your lips against the mouthpiece. Back off on the amount of air you're putting thru the instrument. Practice-practice-practice. Finally, go to Ohsteacher on youtube . He is a horn man at , I believe Utah State. He has a bunch of pieces played by himself. FANTASTIC. He also answers questions from serious students of the horn.

  • i want to play like this im already a good player but not like this O_O

  • HOW DO THEY DO IT?!?!?! THEY MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY!!!!!! Geez when i play my horn i get all red!
