Is the trestle bridge built from scratch? It looks perfect.
A lovely garden railway - you should be proud.

Very nice, they have a suitably rugged style that reminds me of standard gauge BR mineral wagons. Do you have a decent picture or two of one?

@LMatters1 Good luck! I got the go ahead after similar negotiations. Try to get the ok for a basic set up and then you can gradually extend bit by bit! I remember my wife coming home one day and saying "I don't remember that siding being there!" I still don't put signals etc out as we have children and wouldn't want them poking themselves. Best wishes, Keith.

@lynnkeith1 Thanks Keith, I thought it would be an adjustable rate, now I know.
I'm currently engaged in serious negotiation with the Chief Consulting Officer (wife) re the setting up of my own garden railway. It looks like a great hobby, wish me luck with the negotiations please!!

@LMatters1 Thanks for the comments. My locos are all gas fired and have a valve regulating the gas flow, like on a blow lamp. I try to turn down the gas to minimum once the loco is up and running, but when filming as well the safety valve often ends up lifting whilse I stop the train to move the camera about. Best wishes, Keith

Great looking engine and great railway...well done!
A question if I may, I'm thinking of also setting up a garden railway and from looking at a number of similar videos the safety valves on the G gauge locomotives seem to be lifting a lot of the time. With a radio controlled loco, are you able to control the rate of fuel burn (consumption)?

I made the trucks from plasticard mounted on a very basic wooden chassis. If you search the internet for I P Engineering they do very similar kits at competative prices. Thanks for looking, Keith.

@Shipwright1918 It is a good engine. The one thing that lets it down is that to select the direction of travel you have to push it either forward or reverse. If I were you I would look at the Accucraft UK Ragleth loco. It is a similar price but also has a forward / reverse lever in the cab and has more detail. Have a look at the Trackshack website, they are very competative on price. I also have a Ragleth (see my other films) Best wishes, Keith
where did you get those British trucks?

@cubeproduktion I made them with plasticard and IP engineering wheels and axle boxes. Thanks for looking, Keith
