not really they say you should never mix water with Electricity they say it is dangerous but they will not tell you why this is why....
reason why it will not keep going is because the reaction is cooled and choked by the Water... if you put a Plasma Spark plug system on this Engine it will keep running

One problem I see is the water bottle. It's sitting upright and there's no way the carb can suck the water out of it. These carbs have to be gravity fed. Pull the tube out of the bottle almost all the way then turn the bottle upside down, gravity feed. I don't see how any water got in the fuel bowl unless you turned the bottle up and let it fill up.

I have not seen any problem with this, Water is coming out from overflow outlet after few minutes, Its gravity fed, initially tube is filled with water then we allowed it to drain for few seconds to remove air from pipe.
