Partial election results in Mozambique show President Armando Guebuza and his party headed for an overwhelming victory. State-run Radio Mozambique said Thursday that Mr. Guebuza has 77 percent of the presidential vote, with about half the votes counted. Afonso Dklakama of the Renamo opposition party is second at 13 percent, while Daviz Simango of the Mozambique Democratic Movement, or MDM, is running third at 10 percent. VOA's Scott Bobb has more from Maputo.
