Many years into our future the shining focus of the Sol System casts an eerie red light upon the surface of Earth. The life giving Sun, becomes the Reaper of life as Our Star goes Nova. The only defense, an experimental Graviton Missile. In theory the missile is able to collapse the expanding core of the sun to restart with the fusion of helium. As Humanity flees to Alpha Centauri, One Station remains, Immanuel Station, the proposed salvation of Sol. One man left upon Immanuel conducts the firing of the Graviton Missile.
