I like this anime but it seems you left a few things out. Why is that?

The reason is because it edits the situation of change.

There are main volume 90 minutes.

you know looking at these I think they could pull of a live action version, maybe something by either Lucas studios or Jim Henson studios. They really should be looking to older ones like these rather than younger ones like Dragon Ball and Cowboy Bebop, or overly cult classic ones like Akira. There is much more potential in classics like this one, and would lend better to live action given the style and genre/theme.

I saw this in French in 1982 on French television. I was only 8 years old then. I loved it even though I was too young to understand all of it. I have been looking for it ever since but it is absolutely impossible to find. Thank-you ever so much for these small extracts. Please post some more. I would love to see the bit where the princess who is a plant dies and is planted to become the beautiful tree. Thank-you, really.
