  • wow, i love this video you were so helpful! thank you so much, but i'm wondering if i can use the needles from a pine tree or a blue spruce or a wintergreen tree because i've heard they have large amounts of Vitamin C and i have one in my back yard, im sick at the moment and i love teas!! also, i'm wonderinng if i could use a coffee filter for the time being because i cannot find a strainer.

and just for the record i will be ordering from you when in need of herbs or tools!! thanks a lot :)

  • @skaterofdtown Many people love to make Pine needle tea. You can brew it like any other tea by making a light steep, or you can make a decoction for a stronger brew. Just be sure to research the plant species before consuming wild tea! Many thanks. Erin

  • I heart MRH. Awesome quality, friendly customer service, and great resource! I've been ordering their products for about 3-4 years now and have always had a great experience. When I called awhile ago to ask about their products, a REAL person answered the phone and was very helpful. :D

  • dude its gross don't try it

THC is fat soluble not water soluble so it wont even do anything for you....you're better off making brownies with canna-butter

  • Excellent, informative and insightful video.. thanks very much for creating it.

  • at 7:02 let me translate. Oh and of course I forgot there is nothing more enjoyable than showing off all my tea-making utensils to make you jealous of what I have

  • This was a very well put, edited and narrated video. Very helpful and informative. I also want to know how to make such blends. I'm trying to make nice lavender tea with real flowers. I'll look around YouTube.

  • thanks for posting this. I am fairly new to making tea and it helped me a lot

  • @celticchrys

I know what you mean. Personally, I use a hotplate and a visionware pot (like tinted pyrex) to keep the temperature constant. I re-use these little hemp drawstring bags to put my tea in because tea funnels and tea balls leave a metallic after-taste. I mostly use slippery elm and chamomile as an evening tea.

  • @niggy730 Wouldn't it depend on the particular herbs and spices being used? Each plant would have a different best brewing temperature, just as different styles of actual proper tea does. It would also depend on whether you were more concerned with the medicinal or taste properties. Every herbalist seems to be of differing opinions.

  • @PumpkinMozie You certainly can do the same thing with any kitchen herb. However, you should research anything you plan to drink regularly. Some herbs can affect the body strongly or differently if consumed in concentrated or large amounts as compared to a pinch while cooking now and then.

  • so, can I just go into my spice cabinet, take out my jar of dried parsley or sage or oregano or what have you, and make tea out of that? I've really wanted to make a parsley tea in particular. So can I just use the regular dried herb I use for cooking?
