I'm not sure if you're asking for a critique, so by ALL means disregard this if you're not looking for one!
I think you definitely have a beautiful timbre to your voice, but I wonder if you're breathing diagrammatically. When you breathe from the chest, not only does it make things difficult for you to get a decent volume, but pitch has a tendency to suffer as well. Are you hearing the background music in addition to your melody line? You do have a good instrument to work with - keep singing!
