Move For Japan - Munich Parkour Charity

We traceurs, have been drilling our physical and mental capabilities for years and yet many of us use these skills rarely to really be useful.

Worldwide Parkour Charity: Traceurs for JAPAN 2011
In March and April traceurs all over the world showed their support to the deeply impacted population of Japan.

Following cities like Brussels, Belgrade, Vienna, Singapore, Paris, Lucerne, London, Lyon, Bern, Cologne and many others,
traceurs, freerunners and trickers of Munich met up at the Münchner Freiheit on 16th of April and collected 490€ for the Japanese red cross.

We thank everyone who made this event happen! A special great thank to the donators!

We collected around 500 € at this day.

Sehr gute Arbeit! Gibt es ein Netzwerk, in dem man sich über solche Aktionen Informieren und austauschen kann?

Wir sind eine kleine Gruppe von Traceuren aus einer kleinen Stadt am Niederrhein in NRW.

Da unsere Gruppe zu klein ist um Aktionen wie diese selber auf die Beine zu stellen, wir aber bei soetwas sofort mitmachen würden, wäre es natürlich gut, wenn es so etwas wie einen "Sammelpunkt" gäbe.

@didgidu es war bis jetzt die erste weltweite Aktion die uns bekannt ist. Organisiert wurde das ganze über Facebook und auch über Mundpropaganda. Es ist also vom Vorteil persönlich oder bei Facebook ein paar "ältere" Traceure aus Deutschland kennen zu lernen.

Some traceurs from Stuttgart, Germany and France got an appeal for help from japanese traceurs and organized all the fundraising campaing via Facebook. Traseurs all over the world joined this campaign "Worldwide Parkour Charity: Traceurs for JAPAN" and collected over 20,000€.
