  • The Excalibur dehydrator is much better than these stacked style dehydrators. There is much more even temperature, as the air moves across all trays simultaneously, rather than being hot at the bottom and cooler at the top. Also, there is much better control of temperature. The stacked dehydrators are much cheaper, but not as valuable in the long run. :)
