SanDisk's Eli Harari talks about his Princeton experience

Eli Harari is the founder and CEO of SanDisk, a global leader in flash memory, the computer storage technology that is fundamental to a wide range of consumer electronics, from digital cameras to mobile phones.

Harari, who graduated with a B.S. in physics with honors from Manchester University, earned his doctorate in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Princeton in 1973.

During his early career Harari held various technical and management positions with Waferscale Integration, Inc., Honeywell Inc., Intel Corporation and Hughes Microelectronics Ltd. Harari previously served as a director of Tower Semiconductor Ltd.
In 2008, the Global Semiconductor Alliance awarded Dr. Harari the Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award. In 2009, Dr. Harari received the IEEE Robert N. Noyce Medal in recognition for his leadership in the development and commercialization of flash memory technology. He holds more than 100 patents issued in the field of non-volatile memories and storage systems.
