You will love it. If you can, go on the boat ride to the deserted island and try to upgrade to the water bungalows. You wont regret it. Also, at the start of your holiday, slip $20 to your waiter and Barman. You will be treated like royalty for the remainder of the holiday if you do this

Looks like you had a great time - my wife and I had our honeymoon at Summer Island in August 2004, and it was unforgettable. Brings back memories...did you have anything done at Serena Spa??

Hi,

Thanks for commenting. We had a few things done at the serena, but the best thing was the cucumber wrap after a had day in the sun. Were going back later in the year and cant wait.

thanks for the tip. we did the $20 tip to both waither and barman and worked a treat, diddn't bother with the water bungalow as they looked like council flats on stilks, but had a great holiday and only 1/2 an hour of rian in the rainny season, but long way for a week, will defo do 2 weeks next time, cheers fella

Summer island is well recommended. We were there last June and the weather was great as you can see by the clips. If you can, book a water bungalow, you wont regret it.
