Boring day, tried to recreate the twitching head effect from Jacob's Ladder, House on Haunted Hill, Silent Hill, etc.
Recorded at 2fps, playback at 25fps.
VirtualDub Filters used: MSU Old Video Filter, Motion Blur
And yeah, I know it's too much just sitting around in the beginning and there's a visible cut after the twitching, so what, I'm happy with my result. Took me roughly about 30 minutes to complete.
Nicely done! There's a video called 'Writhe' on my channel which has a shaking head in it. Have a look if you have time!

So did you just shake your head and speed up the process? Or did you film several different positions, cut them together, then speed up the film? Can you explain the process a lil more in depth. Also what type of program did you use?
Thanks

That looks just like it did in the movie Jacob's Ladder. The only problem is that I have NO IDEA how to record at a low framerate.
