114lb Bodyweight
Needed a spot-bump at the bottom sticking point. Mainly just wanted to get under the weight since I have been a little iffy about it since I dropped it outside of a rack a while back. SOON I will have this on my own!!

  • I agree that bar should sit closer to your sholder blades. Are you past parallel on these lifts?

  • @breakbeatkid85 Yes I break parallel on it. I get stuck at the bottom, of course, so I need a slight bump from that point. you are the 5th person to tell me to drop the bar lower-I will have to try that and see if it helps. Thanks for the comment

  • if you did more of a low bar squat, you would use more posterior chain muscles and probably be able to do 315 on your own.

  • @ItsLuk I will try that-it's hard to break the habit of having it high-lt's a comfort thing i suppose. thanks for the comment

  • you should not associate with negros

  • pause squats help out of the hole

  • if your wearing shoes (sneakers running shoes) Lose them try it bare foot ot with some chuck taylors. i have chuck but prefer bare feet (2pr of socks my toes get cold :) ) awesome squat though

  • but great squatting nonetheless! you're a beast!

  • i agree with the above posters. move the bar lower so its resting on your traps.

  • @pumpnironpinup it helps, I just started powerlifting myself, ive been learning the proper techniques and its a little weird the first go around but after getting used to it, it feels more comfortable and actually allows for more leg drive. good luck with your lifts!

  • wow that is awesome.. I would love to squat that much. You look great girl..

  • When you get into position on the bar, don't "leave" it. Get tight under bar while staying in constant contact. Get it from the front next time if you can.

  • Kevin Levrone Spotting lol!
