if your wearing shoes (sneakers running shoes) Lose them try it bare foot ot with some chuck taylors. i have chuck but prefer bare feet (2pr of socks my toes get cold :) ) awesome squat though

i agree with the above posters. move the bar lower so its resting on your traps.

@pumpnironpinup it helps, I just started powerlifting myself, ive been learning the proper techniques and its a little weird the first go around but after getting used to it, it feels more comfortable and actually allows for more leg drive. good luck with your lifts!

When you get into position on the bar, don't "leave" it. Get tight under bar while staying in constant contact. Get it from the front next time if you can.

I agree that bar should sit closer to your sholder blades. Are you past parallel on these lifts?

@breakbeatkid85 Yes I break parallel on it. I get stuck at the bottom, of course, so I need a slight bump from that point. you are the 5th person to tell me to drop the bar lower-I will have to try that and see if it helps. Thanks for the comment

if you did more of a low bar squat, you would use more posterior chain muscles and probably be able to do 315 on your own.
