how can you not enjoy an anime with BEAUTIFUL ANIMATION.
this easily one of the best anime i have seen with stunning animation. next to 5 cm per second and Bakemonogatari.
also as long as the characters are likable, generic story plots will not matter.

@qfeuille2 they have six episodes on animefreak.tv that are 1 hour long. and they are still coming out with more from what the description says.

@JakeFuyou i always thought that they where pretty epic though if you think about it. it expands your imagination to wonder if we could do that one day. and i always thought mechs battaling in the sky was pretty cool but in this anime it is a lot more connected to reality though because in a lot of anime they don't relode... (if this made sense to you let me know because it's pretty jumbled up).

Personally, this easily makes it into my top 5. The mechas are original in that they don't do anything beyond our time, in other words, these are much more realistic examples of what they would be like in the real world. Slow and cumbersome, but effective none the less. I also like the whole melancholic feel to it.
