Chapter Two

( Melanee)



- WAKEY WAKEY WAKEY WAKEY!!!-
Someone was shaking me and was on top of me.
- Frankie! Get off!- I groaned.
- Its not Frankie!-
I opened my eyes
- Joe?-
- GOOD MORNING SUNSHINE!- He smiled at me.
- What.are.u.doing?-
- WAKING UP MY LITTLE SISTER FOR HER FIRST DAY OF EIGHTH GRADE!- He said and started shaking me again.
- Okay. A simple, Melanee wake up! would have been okay.- I said.
- NOT WHEN U HAD 2 RED BULLS AND A JELLY DONUT FOR BREAKFAST ITS NOT! NOW GET UP!- He started to tickle me.
- JOE! OKAY OKAY OKAY! IM UP! GET OFF!- I laughed and he jumped off me and ran out of the room. I heard banging noises which most likely meant he was falling down the stairs. Gosh. I got out of bed and started getting ready for school. I got dressed, did my hair, brushed my teeth, blah blah blah.

I walked down stairs.
- Heyyy! Okay yea im leaving bye!- I said and almost made it out the door but my mom stopped me.
- WAIT! I need a picture!- She came over with her camera.
- mom!- I whined.
- Silence.- She said and snapped some pictures of me while my brothers laughed. Then Nick started choking on his muffin
- Haha. Thats right! Choke! Thats what u get for laughing at me!- I said.
- Okay, thats enough. Go. Youre going to be late.- Mom said.
- Okay. I love you.- I hugged her and dad.
Then I looked at my brothers.
- You 4 annoy me. BYE!- I smiled and walked out the door.

- Hey.- Amal greeted me. She was wearing light blue jean capris and a white Abercrombie shirt. ( An: I dnt really like Abercrombie.)
- Hey.- I said back.
- So, I LIKE YOUR SHIRT!- Amal yelled.
- Give it a rest.- I laughed.
- Never.- She said. As we neared the school, butterflies began to form in my stomach. We were just down the block now. I could see the HUGE school. It was a good thing Amal and I had all our classes together, well except for Spanish, 9th period. We walked out into the front lawn of the school. Kids were all over the place laughing and hugging each other ( AN: Just the girls were hugginglol.) I was nervous, but excited.
- So what do you think?- Amal asked.
- Its defiantly big.- I said.
- Haha. Lets go find out lockers.- She said and we walked around trying to find out lockers. When we finally did we were happy to se that they were both top lockers and they were right next to each others. ( An: In real life me and my bff lockers r right next to each other and are top. Its awesome. Lol ok back to the story.)
- What is our first period?- I asked.
- Home Ec.- Amal said.
- Oh goodie.- I said sarcastically.
- Lets go.- She said.
- No. I know where it is. Ill be there in a few minutes I need to figure out how to open my locker. Save me a seat.- I said.
- Okay.- Amal said and walked off.
I kept on trying to open my locker. On the 43rd time I finally opened it.
- YES!!! VICTORY IS MINE!- I said a little too loud and I got a few weird looks from kids around me. Then I heard a laugh behind me and I turned around.
- Never open a lock before of what?- A dark-haired angel said to me. He had dark, dark hair with dark blue eyes. His skin is pretty pale. He towered over me by about a foot. He smiled a perfect smile at me.
- Hello?- He asked.
- Tadajaoh. Yeaaa.- I stuttered.
He laughed a perfect laugh.
- Im Jesse.- He said.
- Oh. Im- Name! Name! WHATS MY NAME?!?!
- Melanee?- He said.
- Uh. Oh! Yeah. What you said! How did u no?- I asked.
- The whole school is talking about you, well the girls at least. You no ( in a impression of a girl.) OMJ! THE JONAS SISTER! IN OUR SCHOOL! YEPII!- He said.
- Okay. Please never do that again.- I said.
He laughed again and smiled.
- Promise.- He smiled. - Oh. And lucky for me, my locker is right under yours.- He said.
- Oh. Okay sorry.- I said, suddenly uncomfortable.
- Kso see you around?- Jesse said.
- Sure.- I muttered before walking around him and headed the other way of my class.


I finally made it right before the bell. I took the seat next to Amal all the way in the back.
- What took you so long?- Amal whispered.
I decided to leave Jesse out. She would get excited and ask when the wedding is or something.
- Locker trouble.- I whispered back then stopped cuz class started.
