I love the original Gex and love the Saturn. Gex was ruined once he went to 3-d.

Gex was awesome, but Fighters Megamix is the best saturn game!!! I loved it.

@latinfuego10022 i was actually drawn more to the 3d ones. the only reason is because it was more unique (at thd time) cuz in 95 there were loads of 2d platformers. like kid chameleon, decap attack, alex kidd, vectorman, comix zone, sonic, mario, rayman, and kirby so gex 1 paled in comparison, but i liked it. now, rayman, on the other hand i liked the 2d one better, even though it got really difficult.

In the 3rd Gex there was some Sherlock Holmes-styled level, where you run around with magnifying glass, kicking some bears and hunters. At some points, you could diminish and jump on sponges in a sink as mini-Gex or running on a bear's head killing fleas. And you could even turn into a vampire and glide using a Draculish coat. Or climbing up a giant bean sprout. There was no such cool stuff in the 1st Gex.

I disagree. The first Gex was cool, but I like Gex Enter The Gecko and Gex Deep Cover Gecko even more than the 1st game. It wasn't ruined at all, unlike Sonic. It had cool graphics and design, levels were even more interesting and unpredictable. Gex was funny too. In my opinion, Enter The Gecko and Deep Cover Gecko were as great as Crash, for example. Not less. I compare it with Crash, because I played it on PSone, not Saturn. Anyway, I think 3-D Gex'es are underrated. I can draw some examples.
