If u can do something just becoz u want to offer and not sell, do it. But when u write a book and spend a lot of time (i think this needs time and study) u got to sell. Noone is going to give your life for free just becoz u think u offer. We are not free man. If he can work all morning and write all night and doesnt need money from this book then i would agree.
