Continuing on from my track uploading from last year, iv'e decided to go and add my 4th Cup, in the grand prix. The Fire Cup!
The previous cups would be availble from the word go, but only after beating the first 3 cups in a single engine mode would you be able to race this track, in that engine mode... So to race it in 150cc you would need a gold in all the previous cups in the 150cc mode.
Course 1: Mario Raceway: The last of the Raceways! From now on things get alot tougher. We start with a circuit with a name of everyones favourite plummer. This course is actually right next to the Peach Castle Raceway in my Flower Cup, if your wondering about the bit of road thats of the right hand side of the picture. Other than that note, just watch out for the moat, Chain Chomp and sharp U-turn at the end.
Course 2: Frozen Wastes: The 2nd, Wintery course in the game. This idea came from the wintery level in Donkey Kong Country where vicious Snowstorms blow, and gust about. As such is the theme of this track. The wastes are under constant attack from snowstorms, with only the shelter of caves and tunnels. There are light beacons on the track to guide you through the storm, but watch out for the Icy Lake in the middle, and discarded Oil Drums, causing oil slips. This track can be very confusing with it's many multiple path directions, regardless of the snowstorm.
Course 3: Rumble Falls: The 2nd but Last Waterfall track, but also the second Jungle track in the game. (Saving a DK track for the next cup :) ) This track has lots of boost oportunites, as you trick of the bumps to the south, and along the bridge section. Theres even a path in the tunnel which leads to an extra large boost section, but the decisive path, is often overshot as you powerslide round the bend to take it. This is also the first racetrack idea, where you get to drive through a waterfall, halfway round the track!
Course 4: Moonview City: What happens when you dump, Moonview Highway from Mario Kart Wii, on top of Star City from Diddy Kong Racing...THIS!!! My second, but last City themed course, is easy to start with, with only the traffic to worry about, but, then you must negotiate the tight 90 degree bends of the city centre. an overpass, near the start offers a route with more speed pads, which can be tricky to get to, but once there provides a great shortcut!
Course 5: Fire 'N Ice Mountain: The second of my Firery tracks, also combines the last theme of Winter into the Grandprix, Fire Cup Finalle... can you see now why it's called the Fire Cup!? An explosive volcano is slowly spewing it's liquid Magma over the west side of the track, while causing fire balls to rain from the sky! Your save in the tunnels, as well as the far western side of the map. Not only do you have to worry about the lava, but falling of that ridge, in the frozen North East corner of the map, as well as the rickedy bridge. Oh and that block of spinning ice in the frozen water is also a hazard, but can actually provide a quicker route when done correctly as a shortcut. this is often tricky, though as it's in different postions on different laps, so it's best to stick to the narrow part round the side though.
No, these are purely Fan Fiction Tracks, done in Paint.
i have no idea how to use the custom Track designer szs thing.
but if i was able to use it, then i would definatly thing about making some of these tracks
