Yea, I used a dremel tool on the whole thing. Works like a charm! I carefully cut around the button to not damage the wiring. I removed the handle on the back piece by piece until it was completely removed. Then I cut the hole in the back, added a handle inside by drilling a hole and using smalls screws and nuts.
A dremel usually comes as a kit with different tips, drill bit, sander, little circle saw, etc.
