Is Jesus For Real? (talk 3 - part 1)

A couple years ago I was struggling with my Faith wondering if it was wishful thinking about God really coming to Earth as a man and dying for me.

I thought I had to have blind Faith and all the stories I heard about Jesus and the Bible were nice stories but I didn't know if it was true.

I didn't know if my life was worth living and giving everything up for Jesus if I didn't have that assurance of Truth.

My prayer was for God to show Himself more and give me more evidence, outside of The Bible.

This 3-part talk and (the book) The Case for Christ were the answer to that prayer. It's a series that was given by Pastor Joe Coffey over a weekend retreat to our college ministry.

Because it was such a blessing to me I had to put it on here.

Hope it answers your prayers and gives you comfort in knowing that He really did live, really is the Truth and really does want you with Him for eternity. Enjoy!

and he still loves us, even, all those 200 years ago, when, he was to die on that cross, he could have had the angles, or his father to save him, but, he did not, he made a large choice, that put his life, in serious jeoperody but he did it for us, and i belive he was real, and i belive in the bibble(: so who ever ask this dumb thing go to church):<

what kind of stupid question is that??????????????????????????­???????? of course he was real, if he did not exsist, how come we are here? god brough his only son, jesus christ, to teach us, about how to love, and how to love your haters, and pray for the ones that mistreat you, and if jesus had not made a large choice to die for us, we would all went to hell, but, jesus step up, and died on that cross, and on calvory for us, he did not have to, but he wanted to, because he loved us,

Did Jesus say raping young boys was OK, did Jesus say nuns abusing young girls is ok, did christ say beat your kids, or did h say punish you kids.

Nice excuses sylvian68, How about cops who are worse than crooks, politicians who except bribes, judges who except bj's, drugged out entertainers as role models, and like Jesus said, "He who has no sin , let them cast the first stone." If their is no Jesus Christ and Judgement for sin, we would all be as hopeless and cynical as you are. Maybe try helping out instead of telling everybody how stupid they are .
