Dude, you're 17...your balls have barely dropped, the reaction is typical.
We all think we have it figured out, once you mature, grow older..your views change.
You fall in love and you'll want to settle down.
The world is over populated as is even at 24, marriage/kids isn't something I'll consider until I'm well into my 30's.
Enjoy the time you have now, it's about self discovery.
Many young people fall into peer pressure thinking it's all about having a kids. So relax, you'll be right.
