Seven metres wide on Doha's Corniche, the cycle-path is to have a stunning canopy and will be water-cooled. Well, 2007 was when the World's economy crashed; but, the only thing I could find on the bike path was that it was cancelled. However, now they're thinking about moving it to another city where there is more room for a path that large. If it is ever built, and if it is a success in Qatar, then maybe we could get some in the USA...
