I love you for this.
I've never raided before, or even knew what was expected of me....but by using COMMON SENSE, I've already started to gear myself, learn my class, learn each boss fight and MY personal role in it, studying the best specs/talents/glyphs.... and asking for advice/help from veteren raiders.
Don't stand in stupid. It'll be satisfying to actually go to raids prepared.

i was a pve for some time until i hit 85 then wanted to raid, i obviously knew myself i needed much better gear so i tried but grinding dungeons over and over just wasnt any fun so i went to pvp, i had fun and got great gear pretty fast but then i started arenas, the pvp version of raiding and it just wasnt balanced if you ask me so i went back to pve, got great gear, sockets, enchants, glyphs, all that crap, did good dps but since i was doing pvp i dont have the achive and cant do it anyway.

PvP for the win, i agree with Timmy, do all those shit to be able to raid and even when you got everything it isnt sure you gonna get in the raid group also its so boring in my opinion to fight Npc.Pvp has alot more action its fun,fast,your not being ordered around by a raid leader
