This is my favorite movie, and probably the best Australian movie ever made. Those cars look really mean. The cars are mostly Holdens, Chryslers and Fords.
-
@xaxie1 It was the most expensive Australian movie. The cars cost a fortune down there.
-
just been up there today, where they did alot of the filming , along the road down there at silverton, broken hill .. awsome museum,
-
Most Expensive, I thought the film was made for about 4 Million?
That was the most expensive back then? Thats less than The Godfather?
And howcome it only made back a 5th of what the original made?
I thought that Sequels usually made back more ?

those stunts are the best ever!!!!! almost deadly!!!

Mad Max 2 is brilliant!

@Lex5576 Your wrong. Death Prof was every bit as dangerous as this, and there are plenty of other movies over the past ten years that use real stunt frivers doing dangerous things. Not everything is Matrix or Transformers. The Mad Max Directors also undercranked like crazy. Those cars are actualy going about 30% slower than they apear.

yep those stuntmen sure have BIG BALLS

Hahahaha Thats my dad! (Guy Norris)

That's brutal filmmaking! .....but these are some of the best actions scenes ever made. The risks payed off in the long run. The better directors of today would have to resort to fancy camera work to get even remotely close to being as good as the old fashioned Mad Max masterpiece. No stuntman today wants to risk getting killed like those guys did back then.
Wow these are real stunts, not some stupid computer crap. I have to give alot of respect to the stunt man.
