@SAVI45 depends on how much cash you have. The Zetec S will be cheaper to insure, run, and on mpg. There's a wider choice of engines, especially the diesels if you do lots of miles. The focus ST will have a greater level of kit. While the 2.5litre I5 will be the smoothest engine of the entire line up, mpg won't be too great.its a thirsty car. not to mention the focus ST commands a higher price tag. so for the price of an ST, you could get a much newer, lower mileage zetec S.

Im currently driving a 1.6 zetec and the handling is very very good.. I've been down to the dealer today enquiring about the zetec s. I was after the 2.0 tdci if its not too expensive. How are you finding the 1.8 in terms of MPG and performance (saves me having a test drive if i ask you). I've driven a 1.8 mondeo about 5 years ago and zipped upto 95 mph with minimal effort. Amazing focus u've got (prefer it to the ST in all honesty)

i've had a few of these! lovely car handles amazing, looks good, esp with the 18" and xenons. shame about no more 1.8 duratecs tho :(
