The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years is a rockumentary film directed by Penelope Spheeris about the Los Angeles heavy metal scene of 1986, 1987 and 1988.
The film features footage and interviews of legendary heavy metal bands and artists such as Aerosmith, Kiss, Megadeth, Motörhead, Ozzy Osbourne, W.A.S.P, and Alice Cooper.

I'm pretty sure the band Alice Cooper was talking about who ripped them off was Wasp. They have damn near the same stage theatrics but they're a good band.

@GrungeRock1991...album with SLAVE TO THE GRIND, which was more aggressive and even had at speed metal (the title track). Then there's Guns N' Roses, who are self-explanatory. Even Bon Jovi was ambitious as they had Springsteen aspirations (you can clearly hear the Boss' influence in NEW JERSEY and KEEP THE FAITH). Don't get me wrong. I love 90's alt. rock but I think it's wrong to associate all glam bands to this garbage, especially since some of them were better than others.

@GrungeRock1991 I agree and disagree with your assessment. Most of the glam metal bands of the 80's (Poison, Faster Pussycat, Tuff, Vixen, 80's era Kiss, Lizzy Borden, Seduce) were awful and judging by this video, it was clear they had no chance in hell in succeeding. But then you had bands that at least tried to broaden their style. For example, Cinderella made HEARTBREAK STATION, which was heavily influenced by the Stones, T.Rex, Humble Pie and Aerosmith. Skid Row followed their self-titled...
