Hi, when I google htc x01ht(softbank) it says in some places "aka Dopod838pro". Does that mean they're the same and I can upgrade to WM 6.5 as in the video?

@vessyto To tell you frankly, all I know is yours is code name hermes 200 and all the device I have listed are hermes 100, and i do not know what the exact difference is.

Well don't use the above rom, it's ages old. Find a new one at xda developer forum. I can't post a link here directly. Give me ur mail i.d or browse at xda dev forum

@nikolasimic00 yes you can.. If you do not use hard spl(oli pro), or power breaks,or some other unfortunate event. Your jasjam can be bricked. But once win 6.5 has been installed, you need not worry any more. Just follow the pre installation steps carefully. Google hard spl and olipro.They are your Saviour.

I have the same as you have Dopod 838 Pro AKA Hermes 100 but will it work on Windows 7 Desktop OS? I already have mobile sync on my PC[windows 7] but still it doesn't work well...what is your windows on your PC that you're use in the video?

@pranjal87 yeah, I noticed that too in wikipedia :} But I do read some articles in xda forums and it's said that as long as CID is unlocked I can choose whatever ROM I want, or so I understood.
