Excerpt of live solo production "Bach, Burridge & into the Amazon" performed here at the Brazilian Embassy, London. October 2007. This excerpt includes "Dawn" & "Morning Song" featuring chants of the Xavante Indians of the Marimbu community, Brazil."Bach, Burridge & into the Amazon" This performance is an audible biography of musical experience. Emily innovatively combines the early classical with the contemporary. Selected movements from the Dance Suites for unaccompanied 'cello by J.S. Bach are interwoven with her own compositions in which she utilises modern sampling technology, creating exciting multi layered pieces in a live setting. In "into the Amazon" she is inspired by and accompanies her recordings from the natural environment of the forests in Brazil and Xavante Indian traditional songs.
