The League of Reason: http://www.leagueofreason.co.uk/

My submission to the League of Reason Promo contest.
It got runner up!

It's kind of long (it took a whole lot of work to make), but I'm very satisfied with it.

If you enjoy the trailer, then don't hesitate to go check out the League of Reason!

  • God told us that it is not His job to make us believe in him, but our job to have faith in Him and his divinity. Those who have no faith in him are, in a nutshell, disillusioned by the materiality of life.

  • @Apoclypse666

People have faith in many different things. What makes the faith you have in your god any different than the faith that Muslims, Hindus, Bhuddists, Shintos, or any other group has?

They will all make the same claims about faith and proof, anyone can make the claim you made about anything, but faith doesn't make something true, no matter how much it makes you think it is.

  • @IceFire9yt Never, EVER say YOUR god again. He is not mine alone. He is OUR God, and I pray that you will see "reason" soon and that your faith in Him returns.

  • @Apoclypse666

Well, you can try. I'm sure your prayers will be just as effective as prayer had been shown to be in every study conducted. In other words, having no noticable difference on the outcome.

  • @IceFire9yt Like hell, those fools pray for themselves. For prayers to work, you need to be selfless, something humans have a hard time doing. However, I hope that if God grants my prayers and speaks to you, you will regain your faith.

  • @Apoclypse666

Why do you presume to know what people's motivations are for praying? You are not omnisient.

Besides, if I asked a muslim, hindu, etc, I bet some of them would say the same thing as you.

You have to find a way to differentiate yourself from other religions.

  • @gerberakasbah The key difference between the League of Reason and religious groups is that its purpose is not to teach, but to discuss. It's a forum in which everyone can speak about their opinions without their being "teachers" or "students," or a "shepherd" and a "flock." In my opinion, the worst parts of religion are its tendancy to be anti-reason and pro-violence, which is a stance that most skeptics are vehemently against.

  • You, sir, are a gentleman, scholar, and badass. *sub*

  • Are you serious? How many youtube atheists have to create groups which fail before you guys get it.

Why do you find the need to group together and organize into a hive mind like religious people? You are taking the worst parts of religion and applying them to your militant anti-religious nonsense.
