Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me - Johnny Mathis

This video and song were requested by a wonderful young man who happens to love Johnny Mathis. I think he's an old soul. So, this one is for you, dear one, and I hope you like it....You know who you are. Yes, even fireworks for you!

I've always loved this song written by the extremely talented, Mel Carter. I've also enjoyed his singing version. However, with Johnny, it brings me back to a time in the seventies (something the young man couldn't possibly know) when no one was home and I'd put in my eight-track of the album by Johnny, "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me," at full blast.....and then, I'd dance around the house to this song. How could you not have a great day after that! So, thank you, young man, for the request that brought me more joy than you could have known.

Take my advice: TURN UP THE SOUND, DANCE AROUND THE ROOM OR SIMPLY SWAY IN YOUR SEAT. You'll feel great.




Many of you may remember Johnny singing this song during the movie, "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything. Julie Newmar" but it's not on the soundtrack of the movie, for some reason. I've already checked for you.

So far, I couldn't even find an mp3 that you could purchase but I've read recently that some of Johnny's older albums are being re-released and I sure hope this is one of them. It's fabulous.

@Victoriakul Unfortunately, you can't purchase it now but many of the older songs are being remade every day. Keep checking at Amazon. The name of the album is the same as the name of this song.
