Testing a stereo that I was cleaning up. It is actually pretty well made, and has 100 watts per channel.

The distortion comes from the microphone in my camera. This was the first time I overpowered it with something. Kind of funny how I turn up the volume on the stereo, but it doesn't get any louder on the recording because of the AGC on the camera.

  • Man Maxx, you find some great stuff! Do people donate their equipment to you, collect them, or trash dig?

  • @cgillyard All of the above LOL. This is actually a really old video, and I've long since sold this!

  • Please can you tell me the name of the song? thanks :)

  • I can't remember what song it was, but if I could make out the lyrics better, it wouldn't be hard to find.

  • thats an insanely good flat response from the cabinet

  • It was a great sounding system from back when Radio Shack was decent. The amp was 100W per channel and was quite heavy.

  • That's what they used to mean by "Can I have your stereo?" when you were dying. Not some stupid piece of shit i-pod docking station or mini 3 disc stereo system like they have now.

  • This is a stereo. Not some gay ass Ipod dock or what ever.

I got several systems like this, they kick ass.

  • @silvercityblue I miss seeming them in ppl's houses back in the 90s. Eversince the advent of surround sound I started to see less of those cool stereos.

  • Sanyo stereo actually same stereo was also sold under the fisher name too.

  • is that K-Jo 105.5 ?

  • @Maxxarcade Sorry be chiming late :) LOL.

  • Boy whatever happened to those stereos? I got a Sony stereo now, and I love it, don't get me wrong. But I'd still like to go back to old school sometimes, back when stereos were stereos. NICE!!!

  • i want :O :( !!!!!

  • right after the 80s they started to make shit.good system i used to have that same exact system.but since then i upgraded.

  • I don't know why people like iPod docks. I (Well, my sister) had one, POS, died with in a few months of use.

My iPod dock is a vintage stereo with 3 large pairs of speakers.
