  • great job

  • Thanks for your kind words.I use odorless thinner. With the wet method the magic white needs to be applied at least for me. Drying time is about 4 weeks to the touch maybe longer to get me full 13 painting series

  • I found the wet on wet background (both on this and the candle video) to be most useful. Then again I'm a first year art student, so I find even the most basic stuff useful :P

  • this is a joke.

  • I've been in bed all day not feeling well.....but then the mail came and I got my dvd from ya Jack and now I feel allll better!!!! :P Your videos and your energy are really so refreshing. I had no motivation to paint today until i got your dvds!!! Thanks so so much!!!! Keep being you and don't ever change!! "you rock!!!!!!" =)

  • please send me the wonderful paintings :)

  • Very nice!

  • you are an amazing artist...thank you so much for sharing!

  • Beautiful painting Jack! Loved watching this!

  • Hey Jack! so you added this video 3 years ago! wow it is timeless! I'm a serious student of the old masters techniques, which are very different from this one, but let me say I'm so freaking surprised of how easy you made this one and it looks great! So had achieved a great level in the wet on wet technique. Just last night I painted a wet on wet landscape to honor Bob Ross! it is been so long since he died right! but your paintings and his will never die!!!!

  • reminds me of a 90s t-shirt i had.

  • he masked it, bob ross does the same, anyways he has a paper over them, and he simply paints, then, he takes of the paper when hes done, and it shows the whales perfectly
