Baby Boomer II
Introducing Baby Boomer II. The popular Baby Boomer has been redesigned to extend 8 feet vertically and support "pro-sumer" cameras like the Panasonic HMC-150 or Canon XH A1S.

This camera Jib is ideal for weddings, parties, school concerts, or sports. Baby Boomer II gets you above the crowd for dramatic camera sweeps and elevation to capture all the action. The light weight Baby Boomer II mounts on your tripod (not included), elevates 4 feet above and 2 feet below the tripod head typically providing a 2 to 8 foot elevation range. The twin beam design keeps the camera level at all elevations or tilt the tripod head up or down to tilt the camera angle at any elevation. The large camera head provides a secure platform for your camera. It accommodates all brands of today's MiniDV and AVCHD camcorders or digital still cameras up to 6 pounds. A monitor mounting bracket is conveniently located on the pivot hub. The padded handle and weight assembly attaches at two positions to accommodate a wide range of camera and accessory weight for perfect balance. Retainer spring clips make it easy to add or remove balance weights (not included). No breakdown or assembly needed for this light weight jib. Just pack and go. But if you need to, the camera head and weight assembly can easily be removed reducing the overall length to just under 4 feet.

Baby Boomer II is ideal for avid hobbyists and pros on the go who need an efficient tool to get head and shoulders above the competition.

  • I just got this rig, and used it to shoot a concert with. It did well with my HMC150 and dual Sennheiser wireless receivers on it. Plan your start and stop points and you will be fine.

It's light weight, portable and pretty quick to set up. Does a really good job, especially for the price.
