@century1st actually it was more like year 31 BC or something, not year 0. Remember AD stands for after death.

@xXull AD is actually short for 'Anno Domini', which is Latin for 'In the Year of Our Lord'. It doesn't mean After Death, though it's an understandable conclusion. He actually died in around AD 31-35, not 31 BC.
