This is one of my favorite of Liszt's Etudes. It is technically challenging, but is incredibly fun to play. I will be releasing the higher quality audio recording of this piece on my website ( http://www.lisztonian.com ) soon. I hope you enjoy this video of Liszt's Transcendental Etude Number 8!

  • You don't have as much hair as transcendental etude #11. Must be a hard piece.

  • LOL - yes, it certainly is a difficult piece.

  • Bravo bravo!

  • Also, he plays with a lot of heart and hell if you can even look at this piece and not get scared you deserve a lot of kudos! Thanks for posting.

  • @saintvingt This guy adds to the musical culture of the world by taking a great shot at a really hard piece. All the piano snobs on Youtube and all over the world kill art and music by scaring people away from even trying to learn about and play music.I'd rather be in the 17th century when most people played an instrument and music was a source of joy and creativity for all than this disgusting, hierarchical nonsense we have nowadays.

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • it is tipical American house

  • Gosh! -- this was truly amazing. I've always loved this piece and you play it incredibly well.
