Charlie Liu (http://charlie-liu.com ) had fun playing it in a 6-piece solo recital for an Elementary School when he's 6, and they thoroughly enjoyed it! We forgot the pedal extension & they didn't have adjustable bench, so Charlie was sitting on 2 phonebooks, tiptoeing another while pedaling, quite a balancing job there.

  • I'm chuckling at your disclaimer on the right about people wanting more clarity, dynamics and emotion...only because he's 6 and very talented and playing for Elementary school...and I know for certainty that had he played anything differently than fast and loud those little kids would not have been nearly as impressed. HA! More kids went home and asked for piano lessons after that than if he'd played the most heart breaking version of some beautiful piece.

  • Hehe, you're right. As I was sitting in audience, I could hear the gasps from the kids when Charlie's fingers started flying! Fun they had indeed!

  • when I listen to this kid I say to myself damm I suck

  • He's six you moron... what were you doing at six besides peeing your bed? Lol, how can people judge a 6 year old when he learned how to walk 5 years before he played this...

  • @movesguy whether you want to or not, i doubt you can do better.

  • @skyd171 Why would I want to?

  • @movesguy doubt you can outperform this six year old.

  • @deathinvenice92330 特别是对于一个六岁!

  • In fact, if he played it a bit slower, it would be better. Beginner-intermediate level songs shouldn't be played this fast. He is only 6 and his fingers aren't good enough to play fast and well. But again, AMAZING.

  • Woah that was wondeful! Kudos to you for having such à wonderful Son. I dont think it's that fast, and could be softer in some parts, but utterly Amazing.

  • is he playing with pedal?

  • OMFG this is so fast = = faster tahn the actual tempo needed. but still utterly amazing.

  • 好有速度感==..

  • It amazes me how he can stretch his fingers accross the piano so easily, it needs to urge my fingers to do that, and i end up with hurting fingers.
