  • I hate seeing beautiful classics like this being locked away in buildings. This is why rich douchebags should be forbidden from buying classic cars. Save them for people who are going to enjoy, and DRIVE them!

  • @ExUSSailor

Mr. Weiss drives his cars frequently. His are not display cars, they get on the road.

  • Absolutely the most elegant, stylish Cadillac of ALL TIME is the 1958 Eldorado Brougham. Nobody will ever build cars like this again, not USA, not Japan, not Germany, no one. They can't. Today's DOT requires cars to have those shitty plastic bumpers for one thing. The interiors today are pure cheap crap and that includes Cadillac and Benz. Engines today are computerized bottom breathers, that's why they hardly bother designing a grille today. I'll take US cars from 1940 to 1970 way over anything

  • The real problem with American industry isn't the product, but the perceived poor image. Japan actually learned quality by studying American industry. Given time and patience there will be a revival of trust in our products. When Cadillac was The Standard of the World, there wasn't one automaker who would dare challenge that fact. When GM (and Chrysler) recover, and I predict they will, we'll have the opportunity to again show the world how to build cars desired and envied worldwide, bar none.

  • It's interesting to note, that although the Eldorado Brougham and Continental Mark II were in a similar price echelon when new, the Continental today is actually much more easily attainable on average than the Cadillac, which still commands an very high sum most of the time. The difference between two equal examples can be $25,000 or more. I like both cars, but I've always been a Cadillac man at heart.

  • I have yet to see proof that The King owned one. There is a title out there in the name of a "Elvis Presley" ... how difficult is it add a name on a title?

  • i would give anything to own one of these. How much do these go for? does anyone know?

  • awesome crusin down pch on a sunny day in that would be nice

  • What can I say? Absolutely marvellous, fantastic!

  • GM (Harley Earl) already did the Le Sabre; this was a piece of cake for Cadillac to "out-do" the Mark II. A suicide 4-door B4 Lincoln! Called a Brougham no less!!

BOTH very expensive cars when new.

As much as I love ( and have owned both makes)......Cadillacs have always out-sold Lincolns.

And, sadly, look at who is kicking ass even against BMW & Mercedes these days, leaving Lincoln about to become instinct. Very sad indeed!

  • @zukaka84 In the case of a classic Cadillac like this, I agree.

  • @ExUSSailor This is still better than seeing those dumb owners putting those crazy suspensions to make car to jump. I hate that.

Yeah. That'll happen. Tell you what, if it does happen, I'll buy you an island in the Caribbean. If it doesn't happen, then you owe me a motorcycle.
