Barack Obama spoke at Farm Aid 2005 in Tinley Park, Illinois about the importance of family farmers. He also introduced Chicago's own Wilco, who played "Airline to Heaven."
Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

Goddamn Obama looks great in this video. Supporting the average American, supporting one of America's best artists of all time...It's a shame he couldn't seem this way as President. Oh well, the presidency introduces many many intricacies and hardships. I still love the man, And I will absolutely vote for him in 2012 regardless of his large business affiliations and his ineffectiveness with Congress. It's mostly Congress' fault anyway.
