Incase you didn't know language, dialect, and ACCENT vary all over the country, and with specific accents come different pronunciations. I agree on the Macbook. My radio teacher has had his Macbook for 6 years and it is just about as good as my 2 year old Dell Studio 1737. I am in the progress of saving money for a Macbook Air. The one I got picked out is a DJ's best friend.

The JBL MP415's were sweet sounding speakers. Too bad they don't make them anymore. I got myself a pair of the JBL PRX615m's with a pair of JBL PRX618s-XLF's. I know you said you weren't crazy about the PRX500's, but the 600's are definitely an improvement over those.
