This is a "input shaft bearing" from a 7th generation Honda civic. It is a known problem to sometimes cause a "whirring" or grinding sound within your engine.
It usually happens around 100k on the car or could possibly go anytime if driven hard. for more info please visit this current site(s)

  • this in not a wheel bearing and what exactly are you trying to show? Your a genius you can spin a bearing on your finger Yeah one word for you maybe you can figure it out Idiot.

  • have you heard of majestic Honda parts online? I can't figure out what number in the diagram this bearing is. Mine is just starting to sing.

  • i really need your insight.....im planning to do a input shaft bearing job on my em2 civic....but i need to know, is taking apart the 7th gen tranny similar or exactly the same as taking apart a 96 civic tranny?...i know how to do it on a 96 tranny, but im just wondering if it's different for the 7th gens or is it the same...
