Wow. you are right. I can't believe it never once came into frame. Nothing special, mind you. Its a scale model of the Taj Mahal complete with little tiny anamatronic elephants that turn the tuners to keep it constantly in perfect tune. (Headless, with zither pins tucked on the backside of the neck.)

Yep, You can do some fretless slides on the middle string that enhances the sitar-iness even more.

Yep, the double melody string gives it that mando-ring. Kinda makes me think that a full mando configuration would be pretty cool.
