@thefuckingdeviI Final Fantasy XIII sucked because Square-Enix makes games for retards that demand the same thing - "Final Fantasy VII, so kawaii! :3 Sephiroth mai husbando <3" - year after year. Casuals have fucked up the industry a lot, but the Final Fantasy series was always made for casuals - arguably the first titles and the tactics series are exceptions.

I do agree that most people don't play Crysis properly, but that's mostly because of conditioning. Can't blame the player there.

the only people who are impressed by this and didn't think of playing crysis in this way are casuals who are used to linear gameplay that holds you in the hand and babies you through the entire game

this is what crytek envisioned, sadly no one realized it

independent gameplay, creativity sets the limit, absolute freedom, crysis is for people who can think for themselves and not rely on corridor linear gameplay
