How can ANYONE get aroused by a little kid? It boggles my mind. And what's worse, the same sex? YUCK! I'll never understand why anyone gets turned on by little kids, but if I ever have my own kids some day, they better all stay away from them, because there's no telling what I'd do if that happened!

Hmmm I wonder if people are aware of the very impressive research in the field of psychoanalysis and related disciplines which suggests people obsessed with sex offenders and crimes against children, may be harbouring deep subconscous desires? Think about it - they get to think about it all the time, be around children, hear explicit details of sexual offences. Don't get me wrong - most are decent people concerned for kids. But just take care, sometimes bad people hide behind good causes.

Elementary schools really need to do more to educate kids about this subject. Most parents are too uncomfortable to talk to their kids about it. I have talked to my kids about it. It is very important for kids to know what to do and to not keep it a secret if it happens, but to tell an adult. As parents, it IS OUR responsibility to teach our kids what to do. When I was married, my ex-husband molested my oldest stepdaughter. She was 14 at the time. She kept it a secret for almost three years.
