We just did this one this evening on our absolute beginner class. I went well, but they did had a hard time with the last 16 counts. So hard that I would say it is NOT an absolute beginner dance, sorry. But its nice though.

Thank you for teaching my dance Honky Tonk Town.
I'm sorry your dancers had a hard time with the last 16 counts,I taught it to all my Absolute beginners with no trouble .
I also do Absolute Beginner work shops and teach this dance with no problems.
I do hope your dancers can master the troublesome 16 counts and enjoy the dance.
