I've been there.

A lot of stuff in Rendlesham is a little creepy. Odd buildings in the middle of nowhere, tunnels, craters full of dead trees. Creepy stuff.

The abandoned runway is possible the creepiest though.

Dante makes a good point though. Birnes has made a career of trumping up the details of incidents relating to unexplained aerial phenomenon, authoritatively stating supposed facts that have been, in actuality, disproven on several occasions. This is one of those occasions.

Also, there's something about his constant use of sunglasses, even during cloudy weather and indoor shoots, that considerably irritates me.

Erm... no, Bill, he was a security officer charged with security of the base. At no time did he have access to nuclear weapons or have discretion as to their use.
