Brothers Dean & Robert DeLeo- guitarist and bassist, respectively, from Stone Temple Pilots; Filter front-man Richard Patrick and Ray Luzier, ex-drummer for The David Lee Roth Band, joined forces to create Army Of Anyone.
"Disappear" is my favorite tune from their debut, self-titled release.
Lyrics:
Let's not go outside
too much work's in here
heaven can't help us
Watch the walls knocked down
Jesus lost his crown
heaven
must help us
Don't look
don't look at me
I watch how the world works in here
I love how the world works in here
Yeah
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
Hearts melt with lies
Feeling ostracized
they won't just help us
Mourning makes us cry
Singing last goodbyes
no one can help us
Don't look
don't look at me now
I watch how the world works through here
I love how the world works from here
Yeah
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
I try to disappear
Can't you see what I'm sayin'
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these guys perform in Altlanta and sharing them with friends. Robert DeLeo was so close I could have played his bass.
