realy liked this version that Heavy Load do and above all its nice to see them be themselves and not prance round in Dodgy Gear & Wigs.

Hey URN, we,re definitely goin back to Dumfries and as you,ll probably know there,s not many decent gigs round your way so keep an eye out for us cos we,d be happy to see you.On the subject of lookalikes/soundalikes , it,s kinda hard to find the right people when you want them sometimes it,s a case of "make do".As I said before 2009 Heavy Load is a different lineup to the 2007 variety so hopefully I,ll have some new vid up soon cos the band,s changed loads.

Good response to my lambasting. Actually I an only aspire to playing that well, with my old H|H 100 and shiny new guitar & stompbox. I'm old enough that I may have actually seen Free perform live with Kossoff at some festival, and the same goes for Bad Company. You know what it was like to be young in the 70's; I can't remember things to clearly. I used to do a mean vocals for 'Feel like making Loaf' :-)
Glad you enjoyed the gig, I live a good many miles out of town so it's a long haul.

Shame on you URN , you missed a great gig at the Venue .For whats its worth the band you see here is 2007 not the 2009 band that played the gig . Hope to see you next time mate.

Why doesn't the guitarist either look like or sound like Paul Kossoff?
Could you get him a wig and Beard and a guitar so that it sounds like Free.
And where's a Rabbit look alike. Yeah, ok, it's not all about appearances, granted.

I was at FREE Convevention 2008 with my mate from Middlesbro' "Home of Rodgers" and the Band that cut it for ME personally were a band named Freespirit. Great nite tho'.

Do you have guitar tablature for Free songs? I'm keen on learning how to play Mr Big, Woman, The Stealer etc and happy to pay cash.

Not a bad attempt at a classic Free song.Doesnt sound like Free though more like Gary Moore ,definately not Metal though.
