@nesplayer94 Thanks for that info, your a champion, I had always believed it was everythings gone Green" I played the track Temptation from the Live 1981 NYC show and wow it brought back sweet memories of when New Order were at their prime. Once again thanks to you and technology, I can rest.

@jasonw1973 I think that VOX phantom guitar Barney is using was Ian's actual guitar that was given to him after he died. And he looks and acts just like Ian in this performance. It's amazing

@kazon351 That was the final song 'Temptation' in their 1981 NYC show

The sequencer line is superior to the later 'Taras' version from later that year. They were great live around this period, which some of the band members still can't get their head around...

this clip is originally from the VHS "A Factory Complication" released through Factory Benelux. Very expensive at the time, it came housed in a blue wallet.
Also featured Cabaret Voltaire, Section 25, A Certain Ratio, The Duritti Column. New Order were awesome live around this time... even when Barney was pissed.

Probably Taras Schevchenko>? Ukranian national house in NY 1981 DVD new Order 311 ( I think ) has it.

can anyone remember the clip where as they end the song they walk off one at a time just leaving the drummer only to finish the track. The sound quality on this video was very good & clear, not like this one
Simply my favourite moment in music history. The merciless sequencer! The barking Bernard! Totally unique.

this performance was 3 days before the 1st anniversary of Ian Curtis' suicide and shows New Order starting to go in a much more electronic direction. This is one of my all time favourite new order tracks and you cant beat that sound of the vox phantom.
