Most of you are really really wrong, in freestyle reining regardless of age you can ride 2 handed in the bridle. On the other hand it's 5 & under for snaffle in AQHA,APHA, and only in the 5& under snaffle bit/ hackamore nrha approved event. Other than that as of 3 any NRHA event showing in NON PRO or OPEN or lmt/int your horse must be one handed in the bridle.
As for the people with rude comments as to her performance, is this what you do with your time? Write mean UN needed comments on peopl

@sportsbabe27 and you can hold them in either left or right...really depends which direction your going...but most of the time you can only use one hand

Love it that's my cousin

to be honest, I don't like all of the decoration hanging off of the horse. maybe it's just because my horse would spook at it so yeah but idk i don't think it makes the horse look any prettier than if they just left it natural. great job, though, they obviously work well together!

Wrong. In western, using two hands is only with snaffles. Idk why she got away with using two hands with a shank bit.
-
@sportsbabe27 you can use either or. in competition too, you just have to keep with 2 hands for that run, you cant in the middle of your run switch to using one hand [:

To all those rude comments about this girl being a hard rider and heavy handed, I think you need to watch CLOSER. I am a very heavy handed rider so I know what heavy hands look like. This girl is NOT heavy handed. I think the horse wasn't a "finished" reiner. The horse uses a lot of impulsion and power in the rear which is why her legs look the way they do. Ya'll must have not noticed where she lifted her hands and did that stop. Beautiful. You guys need to shut up or go re read some definitions

if i put those streamers on my horses bridle he would be like um no. i am a man get them off

@riprock88 umlee your horse under the age of two
this is a really good video. Just one question, i ride english so i might be wrong, but is she holding her reins in both hands? cuz i heard that for western u only hold them in ur left hand.

In "freestyle" reining you can use 2 hands. Pretty much anything goes as long as you do the required number of maneuvers.
